This section is for information about Insomniax Productions animation work.   While Insomniax Productions is investigating the development of animation software, Insomniax Productions is looking at and evaluating existing products. This would include modeling and painting tools. There appears to be alot of vendors in these areas and the gathering of this type of information is a very large task. Work is preceding and will continue as time premits. These product have been and are being evaluated by people who have no experience in the computer aided animation field. This is to gain a better understanding of each of these products.

Some of the existing software that is being evaluated at the present time:

THE WORK APPEARS TO BE INVOLVE WITH THREE MAIN AREAS OF COMPUTER AIDED ANIMATION IMPLEMENTATION:

BASED ON USING THE EVALUATION SOFTWARE, NONE IS SUPERIOR IN ALL THE IMPLEMENTATION AREAS. EACH IS GOOD IN SOME AREA BUT LACKS IN OTHER AREAS OF IMPLEMENTATION. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE SOFTWARE PACKAGES BEING EVALUATED SO FAR; ARE OF RELATIVELY LOW COST. IT APPEARS THAT A COMBINATION OF PRODUCTS IS REQUIRED FOR A COMPLETE ANIMATION IMPLEMENTATION.
